In the context of the European H2020 project CO3 the research team of Open Lab Athens develops a board role-playing game about empty buildings, community infrastructure and the dialogue between different stakeholders in a city. Our basic goal through this procedure is to support a pilot deployment of an application and service which provides citizens with the opportunity to map empty buildings and infrastructure around the neighbourhoods of Athens. The service makes use of Augmented Reality technologies and is realised in cooperation with DAEM SA a Municipal Corporation of Athens. After two prototype deployments and several tests, we are reaching its final form, with the hope that it will find its way into different applications as a tool of familiarity with issues pertaining to sustainable cities and as a process for community activation.
